Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Key Account Manager Fragrance to join our leading perfume company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and growing strategic key accounts within the fragrance/cosmetic sector, driving sales performance, building strong client relationships, and collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key fragrance clients, understanding their needs, goals, and challenges.
- Sales Growth: Identify opportunities for account growth, upselling, and cross-selling of fragrance products and services.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement account strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform account strategies and product development.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to tailor fragrance solutions to client requirements.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and conditions to secure favorable agreements while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular sales forecasts, account reports, and insights to senior management.
- Customer Service: Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Trade Shows & Events: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote brand awareness and foster relationships.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, or a related field; a background in fragrance or cosmetics is highly advantageous.
- Proven experience (8+ years) as a Key Account Manager or similar role in the fragrance, cosmetics, or luxury goods industry.
- Strong understanding of the perfume industry, fragrance formulations, and market dynamics.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple key accounts successfully while meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to analyze data to drive decision-making and strategic planning.
- Willingness to travel as required.
