Regional Sales Director
Role Summary
The Key Account Manager – Food Service will be responsible for developing and growing the Saudi Arabia and Bahrain markets. The role focuses on acquiring and managing key distributors and food service accounts, driving sales growth, and ensuring strong customer relationships. The position is based in Dubai and requires regular travel to KSA and Bahrain.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development & Sales Growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the food service business in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
- Identify, prospect, and onboard new distributors and key food service customers.
- Expand business with existing key accounts to maximize revenue and market presence.
Distributor & Key Account Management
- Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with distributors and strategic customers.
- Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives.
- Manage joint business plans and performance reviews with distributors and major clients.
Product & Solution Presentation
- Present the companys products and solutions effectively, highlighting value and competitive advantages for the food service market.
- Support product launches and promotional activities in coordination with internal teams.
Negotiation & Contract Management
- Lead commercial negotiations and finalize agreements in line with company pricing and margin targets.
- Ensure contracts, terms, and conditions comply with company policies.
Sales Operations & Reporting
- Use CRM and sales tracking systems to manage pipeline, activities, and forecasts.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market updates for management.
Market & Customer Insight
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs in KSA and Bahrain.
- Provide market insights and recommendations to support strategic decision‑making.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in the food service or food industry.
- Mandatory experience in the Saudi market, preferably with exposure to Bahrain.
- Proven track record in key account management, distributor management, or B2B sales.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and sustain high‑level customer and distributor relationships.
- Commercial mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting ambitious sales targets.
Technical & Systems Skills
- Experience using CRM or sales tracking systems for pipeline and performance management.
Cultural & Market Knowledge
- Solid understanding of Saudi business culture and regional food service dynamics.
- Ability to operate effectively across different GCC market environments.
Additional Requirements
- Based in Dubai with frequent travel to Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel as required.
