Qualifications

  • Fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems within the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system errors, connectivity problems, and application issues.
  • Assist in setting up user accounts, email configurations, and system access.
  • Monitor IT infrastructure and ensure system security and data protection.
  • Perform regular software updates, backups, and system maintenance.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers for IT-related solutions.
  • Document IT issues, solutions, and best practices for internal reference.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on IT policies and software usage.
  • Support IT projects and assist in system upgrades and deployments.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 25 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
    • Familiarity with networking concepts (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, routers).
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting IT hardware, software, and peripherals.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and cloud services.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Certifications (Preferred): CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified (MCSA/MCP), Cisco CCNA or equivalent.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
