Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive full-time IT Support Engineer, located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates to provide technical assistance, support, and solutions to end-users and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems. The role involves diagnosing and resolving technical hardware and software issues, maintaining system efficiency, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through timely and effective support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-level support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems (Windows/macOS/Linux), applications, and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, other business applications).
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and other systems.
  • Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi connectivity, and VPN access.
  • Support video conferencing, VoIP, and AV equipment for meetings and events.
  • Ensure timely logging, tracking, and resolution of tickets in the IT Helpdesk system.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or vendors when required.
  • Perform routine system and security updates, backups, and patch management.
  • Support IT asset management including inventory, procurement, and asset handover/return.
  • Document IT procedures, knowledge base articles, and best practices for internal use.
  • Assist in IT projects such as system upgrades, cloud migrations, and security enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, data security standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support, technical support, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft 365 suite, and collaboration tools.
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi).
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Intune, or similar endpoint management tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or ITIL Foundation are desirable.

Compensation

Monthly CTC from AED 4K - 5K

Applicants preferably from Abu Dhabi / Dubai having UAE driving license.
