Responsibilities
- Manage the governance, adoption & usage of our IT performance products including Apptio and Business Value Management ensuring alignment to approved enterprise IT performance KPIs and reporting standards.
- Drive transparency, insights and improvements for the business with the goal of enhancing the enterprise IT performance management capability across IT.
- Lead the department to provide cross‑technology support and develop a centre of excellence for performance governance across value streams.
- Collaborate with feature teams and IT capability leads to identify data and operational improvements that impact data quality, IT performance, and reduce unit costs.
- Translate long‑term objectives into clear deliverables and IT performance KPIs to drive efficiency of spend within the capabilities.
- Collate functional and business requirements and rapidly translate that information into operational and financial models, dashboards and management reports.
- Develop and nurture the team, including cross‑skilling and up‑skilling, propagating performance, financial and governance practices.
- Act as an ambassador to drive the culture of business performance management across Emirates Group IT, implementing systematic measurement & reporting of enterprise IT performance KPIs.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert on how IT performance & insights integrates across capabilities and value streams supporting organization transformation and upholding running IT as a business.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong background in enterprise IT performance management and KPI‑based operating models.
- In‑depth knowledge of the TBM model, including application of TBM for cost, performance, demand, and value transparency.
- Relevant work experience in a large multinational technology organisation including line management experience, with exposure to enterprise‑level performance governance and executive reporting.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills for financial modelling and analysis, including performance KPI definition, target setting, and benefits tracking.
- Strong hands‑on experience on Apptio products.
- Expert level skills and experience in MS Excel (IF statements, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros) to support KPI modelling, analysis and automation.
- Expert skills in data transformation using MS Excel or Access; knowledge and application of relational database concepts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to executive management audiences and exec level interactions.
- Data analytics and data mining as well as big data analysis skills applied to performance improvement identification and value realisation.
- Previous experience working with scripting, report building, and automated performance and KPI reporting.
- Well‑versed with AGILE ways of working, including use of metrics and KPIs to measure flow, outcomes, and continuous improvement.
