Job description

The IT Delivery Manager provides on-the-ground leadership for our Abu Dhabi IT teams. This pivotal role ensures consistent delivery throughput high-quality standards and strong engagement with local and global stakeholders. You will act as deputy for Papendrecht-based team managers working closely with IT Services IT Data Services IT Cyber Risk Management IT Support and local service/infra teams. The Abu Dhabi IT team currently consists of over 40 members and continues to grow.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Abu Dhabi IT teams on behalf of the team manager responsible.
• Foster communities of practice (Applications Data Automation QA/Testing DevOps) to standardize ways of working.
• Manage dependencies across teams and with Papendrecht track delivery predictability and value realization.
• Act as Business Relations Manager for Building 7 organization.
• Coordinate with external vendors and partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Act as local incident commander for major application/platform incidents.
• Handle day-to-day tasking and prioritization for Abu Dhabi teams on behalf of the team manager responsible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in IT delivery with at least 2 years leading cross‑functional teams (applications data automation software).
• Experience of working in an international diverse organization.
• Domain knowledge in engineering maritime offshore or EPC environments is advantageous.

Extra information

• Your team: You will be part of the Abu Dhabi IT team and will also collaborate closely with Papendrecht-based IT Services IT Data Services IT Support and IT Cyber Risk Management teams. Where you will work: You will work from our beautiful office in Abu Dhabi (Building 7).
• Full‑time/ part‑time job: The position of IT Delivery Manager is a full‑time job.
• Working conditions: Onsite in Abu Dhabi with flexibility for cross‑time‑zone collaboration. Participation in after‑hours change windows and major incident response as needed. Occasional travel to Papendrecht and regional sites.
