Leadership

You own the residential air conditioning product roadmap, with a focus on small split, multi split for sales across all served Middle East and African markets. In this capacity. You are responsible for turnover and margin development of the products in scope.

Product Management and Operations
  1. You are responsible for structuring and managing a competitive product portfolio for the assigned product category, working closely with R&D, factories, and Joint Venture or sourcing partners to develop a competitive product range.
  2. You implement measures to analyze markets, plan and steer turnover and margin, address portfolio gaps, and nurture relationships with the sales organization and customers.
  3. You oversee lifecycle management for the assigned product category, ensuring that technical specifications, costs, and competitiveness remain aligned with market requirements.
  4. You support strategic initiatives and take ownership of special projects in the area of product management.

You take ownership in defining and executing the optimal strategy to shape a competitive portfolio, including but not limited to pricing, value proposition and excellent customer experience. You work with the sales organization to achieving fast market share growth in each served country. You partenr with sales teams to incorporate the customer perspective and develop winning product and service offerings.

Your success will be measured based on revenue, profit margin and market share growth.

Qualifications
  • Education: University degree (Master, MBA) in Intl. Business, Management, Industrial Engineering or equal.
  • Personality: communicative, self-driven and proactive, able to negotiate
  • Working style: structured and analytical
  • Experience and Know-how: Minimum of 5 years' experience in Product Management, Marketing, or Sales of durable consumer products in an international context. Required: exposure to light-commercial air-conditioning (VRF, chillers, air-side systems). Experience working with Asian markets/cultures is a plus. Strong understanding of pricing strategies and the key P&L levers, with demonstrated ability to apply price-steering mechanisms;
  • Collaboration: able to travel internationally, including Asia you understand and feel comfortable to work with foreign cultures
  • Languages: able to negotiate in English language, other European languages an advantage

The role will be based in Dubai, UAE.
