Direct Supervisor: Area Sales Manager
Job Purpose
Manage end-to-end investment / insurance sales for Business Banking.
Key Result Areas and Responsibility
- Looks for opportunities and harvests all referrals for Investment sales for BB Team
- Presenting opportunities and value of Investment products to clients of BB.
- Educate and present Investment ideas, opportunities, need analysis to BB teams
- Promote the Investment business and generate FER through BB portfolio by cross selling wealth products.
- Supports primary point of fulfillment of customer cross sell of all Investment Products Business Banking
- Drive growth of Mashreq Investment Business
- Responsible for end-to-end sales / service for Investment sales to BB.
Operating Environment, Framework and Boundaries, Working Relationships
- Work with Investment Proposition Team to understand products, markets, opportunities
- Works with the Business Banking Area Managers, Team Managers, Relationship Managers and all other BB members to generate sales through their client base.
- Works with the Business Banking central team, team leaders, Account managers and other BB members to generate sales through their client base
- Will interact with the following teams and others at Mashreq through the Investment Proposition Team: CCAM, DBC, RCO, TCM, TOC, Legal and Compliance
Problem Solving
- Well versed with CPRA (Client Profiling and Risk Analysis) to better understand a client, their profile, their need and their risk.
- Specialized product knowledge of all investment at Mashreq. Is aware of the Market Developments, new financial products.
- Knowledge of the Global Economic Scenario and situations of various investment vehicles and Financial Markets
- Ability to work with GB and BB teams to get referrals for Investment/Insurance needs.
- Will have to achieve set FER (revenue) targets and other cross sell products.
- Does regular competitive analysis to understand what is offered in the market and to constantly provide feedback on competition and customer response to processes, products and services
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Good communication, profiling, presentation and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, team player with ability to coach / train others
- Good sales skills and knowledge of Investment/Insurance products
- A Graduate, with at least 6 years of experience in wealth management, preferably in the UAE
- SCA Certified (UAE R&R and CISI L 3)
