Inhaled Brand Director, International Markets

Location : Dubai UAE (on site 3 days per week)

Accountabilities

Drive global inhaled portfolio strategy and build brand value propositions by integrating customer, market, and competitive insights.

Guide and partner with in-country teams and leaders to develop robust brand strategies and business cases to achieve our financial targets and ambition for 2030.

Lead coordination and communication with cross-functional teams on international brand objectives and implementation.

Support local market capability-building to establish commercial presence and ensure market access through partnerships, engagement, and mapping.

Generate insights to assess commercial opportunities and adopt a patient-centric brand strategy and campaign.

Monitor and analyse performance across top markets and key sales and disease indicators.

Provide hands-on and strategic leadership in driving robust launches and brand adoption in key countries.

Support capability building in key markets and share best practices, especially around launch success, principles, and execution.

Essential Skills / Experience

Proven experience as a Business Unit Director or in an equivalent commercial / leadership role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams in MC, Area or multi-country settings.

Exceptional strategic and commercial acumen, with demonstrated success in developing and executing brand strategies that deliver significant business growth, especially at portfolio and above-country levels.

Extensive experience in brand marketing and product launches, including oversight of multi-market launches and lifecycle management in complex, competitive environments.

Understanding of commercialisation, pricing strategy, market access, and the regulatory landscape across diverse geographies, ideally with exposure to inhaled therapies or within respiratory / COPD therapeutic have had people management experience with the agility to lead and communicate across geographical and cultural boundaries in multiple time zones

Superior leadership, change management, and influencing skills, with the ability to guide, inspire, and develop cross-functional and cross-cultural teams to deliver on ambitious brand objectives.

Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills, able to partner with executive leaders, external partners, and regional teams while navigating the sensitivities of international business.

Strong analytical and financial acumen, able to translate data and market insights into robust business cases and drive measurable commercial outcomes.

Graduate degree in Sciences, Business, or related discipline; MBA or equivalent post-graduate business qualification

Experience in brand marketing and solid understanding of commercialization and access to market, especially in emerging markets

Project management skills with the ability to lead, plan, and drive the execution of business strategy and tactics

Extensive experience in product launches

Desirable Skills / Experience

Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry at an above-country role, preferably with experience in COPD

Experience in project management of cross-functional teams in emerging markets
