Job summary

A leading automotive company in Dubai is seeking an HR professional to provide operational support and drive the Emiratisation strategy. Responsibilities include recruitment, talent identification, and enhancing Emirati initiatives within the organization. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of experience in HR, preferably with a degree in Human Resources. Job description

To provide HR operational support to the Al Tayer BU to meet HR needs & objectives in an effective and efficient manner . You will play a pivotal role in driving the recruitment and talent acquisition strategy aimed at fostering the development of UAE Nationals within our organization. Your responsibilities will encompass various facets of recruitment, talent identification, and engagement to enhance Emiratisation initiatives.

Functional Roles and Responsibilities
  • Act as a representative of the HR function within the BU, providing day-to-day HR support to employees and management, specifically within the Emiratisation function.
  • Participate in the implementation of UAE National employee induction and orientation plans within the units in conjunction with the Employee Services team and subsequent follow-up on progress of new recruits in their jobs through the induction & probation period including identification of any training needs to complement the learning on the job.
  • Where appropriate, handle staff grievances & disciplinary issues and provide guidance to line managers for efficient & satisfactory resolution of the same in line with HR policies procedures and undertake suitable measures to aid retention.
  • Facilitate the performance management process, drive appraisal process for its successful conclusion during probation and annual cycle, review & report outcomes to HR Manager for further analysis & decisions in training, reward & performance management area.
  • Provide counseling and advice to all employees in line with company and HR policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate smooth transition of employees exiting the organization by coordinating with the relevant departments in ensuring payment of final settlement dues and cancellation of visas within appropriate time frame.
  • Oversee entry and maintenance of employee data on all HR systems and ensure accuracy and timeliness of the same.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee the Emiratisation strategy aligned with organizational objectives to attract, recruit, and retain UAE Nationals across diverse roles and levels.
  • Recruitment Planning: Collaborate with hiring managers to identify Emiratisation needs, establish hiring plans, and devise effective strategies to source, attract, and assess Emirati talent.
  • Talent Acquisition: assist with the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding Emirati candidates while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders, government entities, educational institutions, and community organizations to drive Emiratisation goals and initiatives.
  • Talent Pipeline Development: Implement proactive measures to create and nurture a pipeline of UAE Nationals, ensuring continuous talent availability for current and future organizational needs.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with Emiratisation regulations and requirements, maintaining accurate records and providing timely reports as necessary.
Education/Certification and Continued Education
  • Graduate or Post Graduate Degree, preferably in the field of Human Resources
