Job summary

A leading health and safety consultancy is seeking an experienced professional based in Dubai to assist in analyzing port HSE data and support risk assessments using methodologies like HIRA and Bowtie. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of HSE standards and terminal operations, and experience with tools such as Power BI. This role involves optimizing safety workflows and preparing for audits, contributing to the overall improvement of safety practices within the organization.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HSE standards for ports (ISPS ISM OSHA IMO).
• Understanding of terminal operations and cargo-handling workflows.
• Familiarity with risk assessment methods (HIRA JSA Bowtie HAZOP).
• Basic experience analysing HSE or operational data.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analysing port HSE data for incidents and KPIs.
• Support risk assessments using HIRA JSA Bowtie HAZOP.
• Help improve safety workflows for hot work and confined spaces.
• Prepare documentation for ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 audits.

Skills

Knowledge of HSE standards for ports

Understanding of terminal operations

Familiarity with risk assessment methods

Basic experience analysing HSE data

Exposure to Power BI or similar dashboarding tools
