We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Manager to join our team in Dubai and support our business through strategic and operational HR leadership.

Position Overview

As an HR Manager at Marsh Dubai, you will serve as a trusted advisor to People Managers across the region, providing expert guidance and support across a broad range of HR functions. This role focuses on delivering high‑quality HR services and programs that enhance organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and compliance with local regulations. Please note, Talent Acquisition activities such as recruitment and onboarding are managed by our dedicated Talent Acquisition team and are outside the scope of this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise and guide People Managers on all HR matters including:

    • Performance management, including supporting training and mentoring programs and monitoring compliance.

    • Communications, change management, and organizational effectiveness.

    • Compensation, benefits, and global mobility.

    • Wellbeing initiatives, including managing local wellness programs and annual health screenings.

    • Leave, absence management, and coordination with workforce administration for return‑to‑work accommodations.

    • Inclusion and diversity awareness and initiatives.

    • Employee relations, including investigations, performance improvement, disciplinary actions, grievances, and appeals, with escalation to Employee Relations for complex issues.

    • Career development, succession planning, and internal mobility.

  • Lead and support the rollout and delivery of HR programs in the region, contributing to continuous process improvements.

  • Act as the sole HR representative in certain countries, collaborating with HR colleagues across multiple locations and ensuring compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide local business insights to Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and People Partners to inform strategic workforce planning and performance management solutions.

  • Support People Managers and employees during restructuring activities, including planning and executing consultations and, where applicable, leading discussions with local works council representatives.

  • Ensure all local regulatory and statutory obligations are met, escalating issues to legal or other experts as needed.

  • Collaborate with People Partners and CoEs to implement best practices tailored to regional and country‑specific needs.

  • Mentor and support peers and junior HR Managers to maintain consistent, high‑quality HR service delivery.

  • Deputize for the Lead HR Manager as required.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in an HR business partner or HR management role, preferably within a multinational environment.

  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and local employment regulations.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations issues with discretion and professionalism.

  • Experience in organizational change management and employee engagement initiatives.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple locations and cultures.
