Government Relations Officer (GRO) Free Zone (Dubai)

We are looking for a Government Relations Officer (GRO) to manage all Free Zone government‑related processes for our Dubai entity. The role will focus on handling visas, work permits, company licences and compliance while ensuring smooth coordination with Free Zone authorities. The ideal candidate must also have strong knowledge of MOHRE, GPSSA, NAFIS, Dubai Municipality (DM), Society of Engineers (SOE), GDRFA and other UAE government entities to support business needs when required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle all Free Zone government transactions including visa processing, renewals, cancellations and labour contracts.
  • Manage company licence renewals, corporate approvals and regulatory filings with Free Zone authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with Free Zone, Dubai Municipality (DM), Society of Engineers (SOE) and UAE labour laws.
  • Liaise with GDRFA, MOHRE, GPSSA, NAFIS and other relevant government bodies when needed.
  • Support internal teams with government‑related processes and regulatory updates.
  • Maintain accurate records of all government transactions and ensure timely renewals.
Requirements
  • Arabic & English fluency (written and spoken).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in government relations preferably within a Dubai Free Zone.
  • Strong knowledge of Free Zone regulations, DM, SOE, GDRFA, MOHRE, GPSSA, NAFIS and UAE labour laws.
  • Familiarity with government portals and digital PRO services.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact with government authorities professionally.
  • Organised, detail‑oriented and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
