A leading restaurant chain in the UAE is seeking an HR Emiratization Associate to support their Emiratization strategy. The role involves sourcing and onboarding Emirati candidates, providing HR support, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and facilitating employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a degree in HR or related fields and 1–3 years of HR experience, preferably in Emiratization or talent acquisition.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in HR, preferably in Emiratization or talent acquisition.
  • Experience in organizing career fairs and employee events is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in sourcing, screening, and onboarding Emirati candidates.
  • Provide HR support for Emirati employees regarding attendance, leave, and payroll issues.
  • Support the coordination of training sessions and career development programs.
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with UAE labor laws and Emiratization policies.
  • Support planning and execution of Emiratization-related events.

Skills

Knowledge of UAE labor laws and Emiratization requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in Arabic and English

Role Purpose

The HR Emiratization Associate supports the organization’s Emiratization strategy in line with UAE government requirements. The role focuses on recruitment, development, and retention of Emirati talent, ensuring compliance with labor regulations while promoting a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Assist in sourcing, screening, and onboarding Emirati candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews, follow-ups, and pre-screening communications.
  • Represent the company in career fairs and university outreach programs.

Employee Relations

  • Provide HR support for Emirati employees regarding attendance, leave, and payroll issues.
  • Ensure smooth handling of notice periods and system-related corrections (e.g., Oracle attendance/leave adjustments).
  • Act as a point of contact for Emirati employees to address concerns.

Training & Development

  • Support the coordination of training sessions and career development programs.
  • Track progress and feedback from Emirati employees participating in learning initiatives.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with UAE labor laws and Emiratization policies.
  • Prepare reports and data for Emiratization KPIs and audits.
  • Liaise with government authorities when required.

Engagement & Events

  • Support planning and execution of Emiratization-related events.
  • Coordinate booth setups, branding, giveaways, and partnerships.
  • Facilitate communication between departments to ensure Emirati employee participation.

Skills & Competencies

  • Knowledge of UAE labor laws and Emiratization requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in Arabic and English.
