Our client is a leading company based in Dubai committed to excellence and innovation in their industry. Due to the continuous growth and expansion they are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Director (UAE National) to join their team.
As the HR Director you will play a pivotal role in driving the HR and administrative functions forward. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies and procedures to support the organization’s objectives and foster a positive work culture. Additionally, you will oversee all administrative activities to ensure smooth operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
- Lead the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews and onboarding new hires.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations.
- Manage employee relations including performance management, disciplinary actions and conflict resolution.
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, incentives and employee welfare initiatives.
- Lead the development and implementation of training and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Manage the HRIS and ensure accurate record-keeping and data management.
- Oversee all administrative functions including facilities management, office supplies, procurement and travel arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement measures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the HR and administrative teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role preferably in a fast‑paced corporate environment.
- In‑depth knowledge of UAE labor laws, regulations and best practices.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic.
