Job summary

A luxury hotel group is seeking a Housekeeping Coordinator to oversee operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities include managing housekeeping assignments, logging maintenance requests, and providing administrative support. The role requires at least 1 year of experience in a similar luxury environment, preferably with pre-opening experience. Qualifications

  • At least 1 year experience in a similar position in luxury hotels.
  • Understanding of payroll and purchasing systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Housekeeping Office operations to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Provide administrative assistance including call management and filing.
  • Log and action all maintenance and cleaning operations.
  • Inventory housekeeping supplies and order as required.

What you’ll do
  • You will be responsible for overseeing of the Housekeeping Office operations to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
  • Provide administrative assistance including emails computer input filing tracing answering telephones printing reports payroll maintaining departmental record logs.
  • Ensure that all calls and requests are actioned and completed as per standards.
  • Log and action all maintenance PPM marble polishing pest control and carpet shampooing.
  • Ensure that all keys and work mobiles are inventoried and signed in and out daily.
  • Completes inventories of all Housekeeping amenities and cleaning supplies and arranges orders as required.
  • Update VIP occupancy special requests with all housekeeping team.
  • Prepare and update housekeeping assignments as required throughout the day.
  • Follow up on arrivals and departures and update Housekeeping team accordingly.
  • To ensure all Lost and Found is logged and stored as per policy and procedures.

  • Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong guest service ethic.
  • English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language.
  • You will be organized articulate and adaptable.
  • You will have a least 1 year experience in a similar position in a luxury 5 star brand with some preopening experience. Middle East experience would be advantageous.
  • You will have a high school education and bring your past experience working for luxury hotels.
