What You’ll Do:
  • Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
  • Ensure guests are seated promptly and comfortably.
  • Handle reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements efficiently.
  • Resolve guest complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a positive and polished first impression of the restaurant or venue.
  • Supervise and coordinate the host/hostess team.
  • Train new hosts/hostesses on greeting standards, reservation systems, and guest service.
  • Assign and monitor tasks to ensure front-of-house operations run smoothly.
  • Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and management to manage flow.
  • Manage booking systems (e.g., OpenTable, Resy, SevenRooms) and walk-ins.
  • Keep an accurate floor plan and track table turnover.
  • Balance seating to optimize server workload and ensure timely service.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (fluency is a must).
  • Proficiency in Russian or any European language is a strong advantage.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, approachable personality.
  • Professional appearance and presentation.
  • Familiarity with MS Excel and Word.
  • Ability to upsell and confidently explain menu items.
