The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods, equipment, or personnel, ensuring timely delivery. Key duties include adhering to traffic laws and company policies, conducting pre- and post-trip inspections, and performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on engines, brakes, transmissions, and hydraulics. The role also involves diagnosing mechanical issues, coordinating with external workshops for major repairs, and maintaining accurate service records. Candidates must ensure vehicles meet regulatory and safety standards, promptly report accidents or breakdowns, and follow preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
