How does your working day look like?
- Supervise, mentor, and train a team of therapists to deliver exceptional spa services.
- Manage schedules and delegate work assignments for the therapy team.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback; organize training programs.
- Ensure all therapists stay updated with industry trends and hotel protocols.
- Deliver personalized treatments (e.g., massages, facials, body scrubs) tailored to guest preferences and needs.
- Handle guest concerns and complaints promptly to ensure a positive and memorable spa experience.
- Maintain the spa's ambiance, cleanliness, and atmosphere to reflect the luxury standards of a five-star hotel.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of spa services, products, and techniques.
- Perform a variety of high-end treatments to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.
- Oversee the quality of treatments delivered by therapists to ensure consistency in service standards.
- Manage supplies, including products, oils, towels, and sheets, ensuring they are well-stocked and organized.
- Oversee inventory and stock levels of spa products, liaising with suppliers for consistent availability.
- Interact courteously with members and guests, answering all facility-related questions.
- Collaborate with the Spa Manager/Director of Rooms to enhance spa offerings and performance.
- Assist in achieving the spa's financial and operational goals.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives to promote the spa and its services.
- Lead efforts to generate positive social reviews and meet or exceed monthly targets.
- Manage spa operations in the absence of the Spa Manager.
- Follow up on gym member renewals.
- Drive treatment upselling initiatives and build strong relationships with repeat guests to enhance retention and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Management experience in a similar role; fluency in English.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Senior Spa Therapist, with knowledge of the local market and hospitality industry.
- Ability to inspire staff and guests; good local knowledge and social tips.
- Certified degree in therapy education.
- Proactive, honest about mistakes, and eager to learn.
- Extensive knowledge of spa treatments, products, and techniques.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Character and abilities that contribute positively to the team environment.
