Job Purpose
Responsible for overseeing and managing all supply chain activities including procurement, logistics, inventory/warehouse management and import/export control. Develops and implements supply chain strategies to support business objectives while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement a supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Identify risks and opportunities implementing strategies accordingly.
- Ensure cross‑departmental alignment of supply chain activities.
Procurement
- Develop and manage a strong supplier network.
- Implement sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality and delivery.
- Negotiate favorable contracts and monitor supplier performance.
- Identify and implement cost‑saving initiatives.
Logistics
- Develop logistics strategies to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
- Manage inbound/outbound transportation and carrier negotiations.
- Optimize inventory levels and oversee warehousing and distribution.
- Ensure compliance with customs and import/export regulations.
Supply Chain Optimization
- Improve processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Leverage technology for better supply chain visibility and performance.
- Integrate sustainability principles into operations.
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop a high‑performing supply chain team.
- Recruit, train and manage talent effectively.
- Set performance expectations and provide regular feedback.
Qualifications & Experience
- Masters degree in supply chain management, business administration or a related field.
- 15 years of experience in procurement and logistics management.
- Strong understanding of supply‑chain principles and practices.
- Experience in the aviation industry preferred.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems.
