Head of Sales and Distribution - UAE National. Location: Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. Are you a strategic Sales & distribution leader with a passion for publishing and a sharp eye for market trends? One of our clients is looking for a dynamic Sales & Distribution Section Head for the Comics division to drive their vision forward and expand their global reach.

Responsibilities
  • Shape and execute publishing strategies aligned with business goals and market trends.
  • Grow global and regional sales, manage key partnerships, and optimise distribution across physical and digital platforms.
  • Identify emerging markets, build international partnerships, and represent us at major book fairs and industry events.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to launch successful campaigns and boost visibility.
  • Manage a high-performing team, foster talent development and ensure performance excellence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Publishing, Business, Marketing, or related field (master’s preferred).
  • 6–8 years’ experience in publishing or content / media sales; 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in distribution and commercial deal-making.
  • Strong industry network and a strategic mindset.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Preferred
  • Familiarity with copyright, publishing contracts, and EHS regulations.
