Job description

TGRC is excited to partner a rapidly expanding renewable energy and distributed energy platform operating across the Gulf region, focused on distributed C&I solar. The company has recently been acquired by a leading global infrastructure fund and is now scaling operations, regional platform capabilities, governance, and investment activities across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and neighboring markets in the GCC, with a diversified portfolio spanning early-stage development to operating assets.

The Head of Projects will oversee the engineering, construction, commissioning, and delivery of C&I and distributed solar including rooftops, carports and ground-mount projects across the UAE.

Responsibilities

Project Delivery Leadership

• Manage full EPC lifecycle: scheduling, budgeting, design reviews, contractor oversight, commissioning, testing, and handover.

• Implement governance frameworks for safety, quality, risk, and performance monitoring.

Technical & Engineering Oversight

• Approve technical specifications, design packages, and engineering deliverables.

• Oversee engineering consultants and technical advisors.

Risk & Stakeholder Management

• Identify project risks, mitigation plans, and contractor performance strategies.

• Engage with utilities, regulators, permitting authorities, and landowners.

Team & Vendor Management

• Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary project delivery team.

• Manage EPC contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Expectations

• 12–20 years in ground mounted solar project delivery with utility scale experience preferred.

• Deep understanding of EPC contracts, engineering standards, and construction practices including local regulations and compliance with DEWA's requirements.

• Fluency in English is a must, Arabic is a plus.
