Overview
We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead the financial strategy and operations of a growing organization in Abu Dhabi. This role is critical in guiding financial direction, ensuring long-term sustainability, and driving business performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute financial strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring to support executive decision-making.
- Oversee monthly accounting, reporting, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage working capital, billing, and collections to optimize cash flow.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and safeguard company assets.
- Drive process improvements, financial transformation, and system enhancements.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team.
- Partner with senior executives, auditors, investors, and regulators to provide insights and influence key business decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (mandatory).
- Professional certifications such as CA, ACCA, CMA, or CFA (highly desirable).
- 10–15 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 5–7 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Finance Director, VP of Finance).
- Proven track record in strategic financial planning, governance, risk management, and compliance.
- Experience leading financial transformation and implementing best practices.
- Background in multinational or highly regulated industries (healthcare, finance, or manufacturing) is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and analytical decision-making skills.
