Job description:

• Operate and monitor diesel generators to ensure continuous and stable power supply for manufacturing operations.
• Start, stop, and control generator functions during power failures, maintenance activities, and testing.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on generators, including oil changes, filter replacement, fuel checks, cooling system inspection, and battery health monitoring.
• Inspect and troubleshoot issues related to generator engines, alternators, fuel systems, and control panels.
• Coordinate with maintenance technicians and external service providers for major repairs.
• Operate and monitor Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) and synchronizing panels.
• Assist with load management, load testing, and ensuring proper power distribution.
• Identify electrical faults and support troubleshooting under the guidance of the facility engineer.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE usage.
