OUR EXPECTATIONS FROM THE ROLE:
Guest Service Excellence:
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the property hotel staff and services including hours of operations.
  • Provide exceptional courtesy and offer the best possible service to hotel guests.
  • Handle and track all amenities delivered to guest rooms promptly ensuring accurate inventory and recovery upon guest departure.
Amenities Management:
  • Ensure amenities such as cribs rollaways and electronic devices are fully stocked and delivered to guest rooms in a timely manner.
  • Conduct a monthly stock inventory for amenities and post sold items from the AYS storage.
Communication and Coordination:
  • Receive and deliver guest faxes mails and messages following proper standards.
  • Coordinate with Guest Experience Planners (GXP) agents regarding guest requests and communicate with AYS leaders regarding guest issues.
  • Follow up on previous shift requests and pending issues using available resources.
Local Area Knowledge:
  • Possess thorough knowledge of the surrounding area including local restaurants attractions houses of worship shopping facilities and emergency numbers.
  • Act as an ambassador by promoting the hotel restaurant lounge gift shops etc.
  • Provide information on local services such as money exchanges banks and ATMs.
Adherence to Policies and Procedures:
  • Follow emergency procedures according to hotel policies and procedures as well as Supervisor/Managers instructions.
  • Stay familiar with job aids policies and procedures related to Front Office operations.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by working various shifts based on business needs.
  • Adhere to grooming standards report to work on time with the proper uniform and represent Marriott in a professional and courteous manner.
