They focus on providing wealth management services to high-net-worth clients (USD 1 million upwards and can scale to handle billionaires) with a diverse set of financial products with a commitment to customer service.
CEO / General Manager - Job Description
The General Manager / CEO function is carried out by an individual who will have ultimate responsibility for the day-to-day management, supervision, and control of the company.
The General Manager will collaborate in the mission to maximize shareholder value, withspecific regard to financial results, executive management, and the provision of leadership toensure that the Company provides products and services necessary to fill customer needs,increase market share and grow the business of the Company.
The GM will have the following duties and responsibilities:
  • Developing strategic plans for the Company which include the identification of target markets
  • Build a sales strategy and products
  • Build out a sales team (Relationship Managers) with existing clients interested in joining our client's platform.
  • Establish a customer acquisition plan and marketing strategy
  • Evaluate and propose strategic partnerships for growth
  • Design and develop financial products for the Company’s clients
  • Build a Business Plan and Budget to be approved by the Board of Directors and make sure the results are in line with the approved budget
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the Company’s relationship between managers and clients
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards
  • Develop a progressive corporate culture that ensures two-way dialogue between management and staff
  • Participate in the continuing execution of the Company’s Risk Management plan with the Board and Other Executives.
Report regularly to the Board of Directors on all matters.

  • The business is currently a small team and hiring will be a key part of the role (hiring for example, relationship managers)
Qualifications:
  • A University degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, a relevant professional designation or MBA or Postgraduate from a reputable institute
  • 20 years of progressive Investment experience, with a minimum of three years at the executive level
  • Existing network of private banking relationship managers and clients
  • A proven track record of achievement in management, financial management and customer service
  • A detailed and working knowledge of private banking operations
  • Someone with a track record of building assets under management and revenues of a wealth firm and well connected both in the UAE banking ecosystem and also in the region's wealth management circles (a key focus is identifying and onboarding Europeans, MEA locals and Asian high net worth individuals
  • The ideal person will come from a sales / commercial role and is interested in moving to a general management role and growing the business in an end-to-end fashion
