Description of the Mission
Purpose
Provide vision and leadership to the company with the development business plans in line with Veolias Green up strategy and enhancing booster activities. Establishing and accomplishing business objectives in a manpower intensive challenging commercial and innovative solution environment with the use of all company resources, policies, processes, systems and procedures in the short, medium and long term through continuous improvement sound financial management.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Overall Accountabilities
- To develop and implement business strategies, policies and processes for the general management and business development for the broad spectrum of activities in total Waste Management Services in Abu Dhabi and Dubai in relation with the UAE BD Director, the UAE CEO and COO.
- Grow and develop the existing businesses and markets.
- Pursue new business opportunities and related adjacencies such as green initiatives and recycling in relation with the UAE BD Director.
- Ensure external and internal stakeholder management.
- Ensure management of all subcontractors and ensure their compliance with their contractual obligations as well as their timely payment and compensation.
- Lead the efforts in ensuring that the appropriate business systems, processes and controls are in place.
- Responsible for budget planning and execution.
- Ensuring adaptation of business and processes through change management process while ensuring appropriate utilization of assets.
- Enforce performance standards, organizational policies provide direction and motivation to functional managers and employees as well as ensure that adequate training is being imparted to staff members.
- Maintain add-on quality health safety and environment standards as well as partner with the Government of UAE, Abu Dhabi and Dubai, other Emirates concerned, its affiliates, and other similar organizations in such endeavours.
- Ensure QHSE systems policy and procedures and guidelines are adhered to and implemented.
Qualifications
Technical Skills and Experiences
Experience & Qualification
- Hold a relevant educational qualification from a well recognized and reputable academic institution fit for the required job function.
Min Exp :
- Minimum 15 years experience in the same field in a well reputed organization within various levels with minimum 7-8 years experience in the same position preferably in the GCC region.
- Strong experience in change management and digitization of processes.
- Strong local commercial and market awareness.
Specific Knowledge & Technical Skills
- Experience in Change management.
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
- UAE valid light vehicle driving license is a must.
- Innovative and continuous improvement mindset.
- Effective problem identification, problem solving and improvement implementation.
- Performance Management, Staffing Management, Proficiency, Coordination, Coaching, Developing Standards, Financial Planning and Strategy, Process Improvement, Decision Making, Strategic Planning, Quality Management.
- Fluent in English is mandatory and /or Arabic/ French/ Hindi is a plus.
