Job summary

A leading engineering company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Full-Time Senior Design & Estimation Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a B.E. / B.Tech degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 3-5 years of experience in fire and life safety systems estimation. You will manage a team of engineers, oversee design and cost estimations, and ensure compliance with UAE codes. Knowledge of NFPA standards is essential. FULL-TIME SENIOR DESIGN & ESTIMATION ENGINEER

Key Requirements:

• B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical or Electrical engineers preferred.
• With 3-5 years UAE experience in fire & life safety systems estimation.
• Strong knowledge of UAE fire & life safety code and NFPA standards.
• Experience in design, estimation, hydraulic calculations, BOQ preparation, tendering and cost analysis.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation tools.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of estimation and design engineers.
• Check and approve design, calculations, accurate cost estimations and material take-offs from engineers.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and survey reports for estimation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE civil defence requirements, UAE codes, and NFPA standards.
