About the job Full-Stack Tech Lead -Statements System

Overview

Were looking for a hands-on Full-Stack Tech Lead to take over the Statements System a PHP-based web application currently backed by SQLite, with planned migration to PostgreSQL and deployment to AWS. This is a foundational role in a startup spun off from a successful fintech company.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the Statements System (front-end, back-end, and DB).
• Migrate from SQLite to PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Refactor and maintain PHP-based APIs and web interfaces.
• Deploy and manage the application in a cloud environment (AWS preferred).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, basic infrastructure-as-code, and monitoring.
• Ensure security best practicesacross stack (web, DB, cloud).
• Support minor business logic changes in the statement calculation engine.
• Liaise with product and operations teams for ongoing improvements.
