A logistics company in the United Arab Emirates is looking for a customer service professional with a degree in management and at least 3 years of experience in customer service and tele sales. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and be familiar with using GACFREIGHT software. Responsibilities include managing customer inquiries, issuing quotations, and maintaining communication throughout the job process. This position offers a fast-paced environment with growth opportunities.
Graduate of any management-related courses.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in customer service and tele sales, or related function is a plus point.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, the ability to learn quickly, and the ability to multitask
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
Ability to make decisions quickly using good business judgment.
Proficient and comfortable in using computer/internet (web/email).
Attending inquiries and submitting suitable quotes to customers within the requested time frames; wherever it is not possible, a reasonable explanation should be offered to customers with the possible time frame of response to inquiries. Until one is familiarized, all quotations are to be sent out only after the respective account manager’s consent.
Follow up a quotation, if secured send the nomination to the partner, follow up the nomination, send regular status updates to customers on their pending shipments, and keep the account manager informed.
Update the partner’s list, current rates, and services.
Issue all job-related requirements such as quotations, status updates, routing orders, and fixing appointments/visits with customers to be organized through our SOFTWARE – GACFREIGHT.
Timely closure of jobs, by duly uploading vendor invoices, customer invoices, and dispatch of invoices to the clients regardless of the services offered.
To comply to telephone etiquette, email etiquette, GAC ethics, dress codes, attendance reporting, and spoken languages are to be followed as per Company procedures.
