Job summary

A leading fragrance development company located in Dubai is seeking a Tech Lab Coordinator. This role involves coordinating fragrance sample preparation and testing while maintaining safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in a lab environment, strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. Responsibilities include compounding fragrance formulas, preparing various applications, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The position requires at least 2–3 years in a technical lab assistant role and a degree in a relevant field.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a fragrance, cosmetics, or chemical laboratory environment.
• Knowledge of fragrance raw materials, compounding techniques, and safety procedures.
• Ability to follow complex formulas with precision and consistency.
• Minimum of 2–3 years in a technical or lab assistant role.
• Experience with sample preparation and record keeping in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately compound fragrance formulas based on evaluator or perfumer instructions.
• Prepare various fragrance applications using alcohol solvents and bases.
• Label and pack samples for internal use or client delivery.
• Ensure lab equipment is cleaned, calibrated, and functioning properly.
• Conduct basic physical checks on fragrance submissions.
• Assist in stability testing and shelf-life observations for fragrance projects.
