Qualifications

What You Will do

The Fire Fighting Designer is a key role reporting to Design Manager for Middle East Region. The job position will be based in Abu Dhabi UAE and you will be part of Design Team and responsible for supporting for driving the growth of business for Fire Protection Design across MEA Region.

The job requires you to support the Design team on Fire Protection Design for Oil & Gas Industry.

How you will do it

As a Fire Fighting Designer you will be preparing the Design Deliverables of Fire Protection system such as Fire Protection Drawings, Clean Agent system drawings, Sprinkler & Spray System, Fire Fighting Equipments including Deluge & Foam Skids Designs, etc.

As a Fire Fighting you will also be involved in attending the client technical meetings to understand the project requirements and ensure design deliverables are inline with the project specifications/requirements.

You will utilize your experience in providing the value addition to the Fire Fighting Design projects. You will be determining priorities of tasks and actions and scheduling measures accordingly.

What we look for

• Minimum 5 years Fire Fighting Design Experience in Oil & Gas Business.
• Must have excellent knowledge of AutoCad.
• Should be able to design the Fire Protection Equipments drawings in 3D softwares like Inventor, 3D Solidworks, Revit, etc.
• Familiar with the design of Fire Protection System: Clean Agent System, Fire Hydrant Network System, Water Spray & Sprinkler system, Foam Water Application to Hydrocarbons, etc.
• Must be familiar with the preparation of Fire Fighting Equipment Drawings with supervision including PID, GADs installation drawings, isometrics, fabrication drawings, etc.
• Must be familiar with hydraulic calculation softwares including Pipenet, HASS, etc.
• Must be familiar with the design of Foam Equipments including Bladder Tank System, Pump Proportioning Skid system, etc.
• Must be familiar with the development of Piping & Instrument diagrams of fire water network in Oil & Gas Industry.
• Well versed with NFPA 1, NFPA 10, NFPA 11, NFPA 13, NFPA 15, NFPA 16, NFPA 20, NFPA 30, NFPA 2001, NFPA 409, NFPA 850, etc.
