Financial Controller (Arabic Speaking) – Large MNC
This is a newly created position due to the company growth. This role reports to the CFO and is responsible for the following:
- Analysis by cost centers/areas, by branches, by the businesses/product lines and by single orders; coordinates with the operations to take actions in case of deviations.
- Control and report the Planning Process (Rough Plan, Forecast and Budget).
- Monitor, report and analyze the risks and opportunities of the financial development of the company against the targets, including proposals for remedial actions and improvements.
- Monitor the implementation of the Company’s business strategy.
- Manage the planning process (Rough Plan, Forecast, Budget) and establish the planning criteria in accordance with the general guidelines of the company.
- Analyze monthly and year‑end closings.
- Ensure that all reporting is completed on time and to the established standards.
- Analyze risks and opportunities and present findings to the Finance Manager (CFO) and Area Manager.
- Analyze deviations from Budget and Forecasts, communicate, and ensure that remedial action is taken in each functional area impacted.
- Analyze deviations from job pre‑calculation (NI, Mod. and EI), communicate, coordinate and ensure actions are taken by the functional areas.
- Identify causes of deviations and communicate to the relevant business leaders.
- Provide advice and support to all business areas as required.
- Analyze income and expenses by business, product lines and cost centers; monitor and assess deviation against budgets and forecasts.
- Establish the annual planning calendar and process.
- Identify and analyze the root causes of deviations to the budget and propose remedial actions.
- Advise and support the various business areas in the budgetary process.
- Analyze the recovery gap.
- Analyze and monitor cost over‑/under‑runs by cost buckets, WIP, late costs and loss job provisions of NI, Mod. and EI orders and co.
Requirements
- Arabic speaking.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance & Accounting.
- At least 5 years in a similar role in a large organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commercial acumen.
- Knowledge of ERP systems.
