A little taste of your day-to-day:

Bottom line? We’re looking for a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to support the Finance & Business Support Manager in maintaining strong financial control, accurate reporting, and compliance across all revenue and expenditure cycles. You’ll play a critical role in safeguarding hotel assets, ensuring balance sheet integrity, and supporting operational decision‑making.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring and maintaining control of revenue and expenditure cycles, including review and correction of daily revenue journals
  • Preparing and reviewing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolving outstanding items
  • Managing accounts payable balances, reviewing ageing, and following up to ensure minimal overdue balances
  • Controlling accommodation advance deposits, house banks, investments, and replacement reserve accounts
  • Preparing and reviewing bank reconciliations and investigating bank statement discrepancies
  • Analysing cashiers’ overs and shorts and ensuring timely resolution
  • Reviewing accounts payable journals, inventory reconciliations, purchase journals, and AP/inventory interfaces
  • Reviewing food and beverage control reconciliations and related journal entries
  • Auditing payroll and reviewing travel agency commission payments
  • Preparing, reviewing, and posting general ledger entries and month‑end journals
  • Preparing monthly invoices for inter‑hotel charges, General Manager accounts, stores, and shop rentals
  • Supporting month‑end closing processes, including back‑office system closing
  • Preparing monthly financial statements for distribution to Department Heads and Executives, as directed
  • Reviewing and approving city ledger transactions prior to posting
What we need from you:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher education qualification (or equivalent) in Accounting or Finance
  • 3–6 years’ experience in financial accounting, preferably within hospitality
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, balance sheet reconciliations, and month‑end close processes
  • Experience with accounts payable, payroll audit, cash controls, and bank reconciliations
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
