Tasks
- Oversee and manage regional accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for Middle East entities.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements.
- Support the CFO Europe Region with consolidated reporting, variance analysis, and strategic financial insights.
- Coordinate and support regional projects, including market entry, business restructuring, cost optimization, and operational scaling initiatives.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity planning, treasury activities, and banking relationships across the region.
- Manage VAT, corporate tax, and other local tax matters in cooperation with external advisors and auditors.
- Review and approve invoices, contracts, and expenditures in line with internal controls and group policies.
- Support distributor bonus calculations, commissions, and regional incentive schemes.
- Participate in digital finance initiatives, including processes related to crypto payments, digital assets, and blockchain-related transactions, ensuring compliance and risk control.
- Liaise with EHQ finance teams and cross-regional stakeholders to ensure alignment with group standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CFA) are a strong plus.
- Minimum 7–10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including regional or multi-country exposure.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
- Experience working in the Middle East region; familiarity with UAE financial, VAT, and corporate tax regulations is highly preferred.
- Knowledge or hands-on experience with crypto, digital assets, or blockchain-related financial processes is a strong advantage.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage complexity across multiple markets.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic
