Job summary

A financial services company in Dubai is seeking a qualified accountant with experience in financial analytics. The successful candidate will be responsible for building financial dashboards, preparing management presentations, and reviewing balance sheets. Candidates must hold a Bachelor in Accountancy, be a CPA or ACCA, and possess at least 5 years of experience in similar roles. Advanced Excel and Power BI skills are essential for this position, along with excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and high work standards.
• Knowledge of commodity trading, dry bulk shipping, or FMCG is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build financial analytics dashboards and automate reports.
• Prepare monthly presentations for management.
• Review balance sheet accounts and clear open items.
• Assist in monthly finalization of accounts.
• Prepare daily fund balance reconciliations.
• Review and book invoices in the ERP system.
• Identify and implement best practices for efficiency.
• Support additional accounting tasks as needed.
