What You'll Do
The primary function of the role is to perform UPS commissioning, service/repairs, and periodic maintenance for Eaton's installed base/products, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will work on Eaton UPS products ranging from small 1-phase UPS to large data center UPS systems up to 1700kVA.
Main Responsibilities
- Follow up on customer agreements and satisfaction through planning, execution, documentation, and invoicing of service tasks.
- Support customers with technical questions via phone and/or email.
- Assist colleagues in the Service department and Sales with technical knowledge.
- Participate in required training (technical, mandatory by Eaton or law).
- Perform commissioning, service, repair, and preventive maintenance on Eaton's installed base/products.
- Support and align work with company goals and KPIs.
- Ensure timely reporting and complete technical reports for each task.
- Adhere to Eaton guidelines, processes, and code of ethics.
- Collaborate with Project Managers on planning and scheduling projects.
- Provide support for high-profile clients, including technical advice and site visits as needed.
- Support Eaton's Environment, Health & Safety culture.
Qualifications
- An associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Skills
- Experience with UPS 1-phase/3-phase systems, batteries, and emergency power supplies.
- Strong communication skills.
