Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Executive with experience in freight forwarding and the shipping industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining existing client relationships, and achieving sales targets related to international and domestic freight services, including sea, air, land transport and logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities in freight forwarding
• Maintain and expand a portfolio of existing clients by understanding their logistics needs and offering tailored solutions.
• Develop and deliver sales presentations to prospective customers and negotiate service agreements.
• Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless onboarding and execution of client shipments.
• Prepare and submit quotations, tenders, and RFQs based on client requirements.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as assigned by the management.
• Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity.
• Attend industry networking events and trade shows to build industry presence and generate leads.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing structures, and documentation standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
*We are flexible in hiring staff with relevant sales experience in their home country.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of proven Field Sales experience in freight forwarding and/or the shipping/logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of international trade, Incoterms, shipping documentation, and customs procedures.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel, as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with major carriers and freight software systems.
• Multilingual ability (depending on region) is an advantage.
