Job Overview

The Arbor School seeks a special individual for an exciting opportunity that has arisen within our school. The successful candidate will play a key role in fulfilling the school’s ecological and sustainability vision, as well as challenging students to fulfil their potential within the academic disciplines.

Role Summary

The Arbor School is seeking a Female PE Teacher (Whole School)to join our successful PE and Sports team. The successful candidate will be proficient and experienced in teaching Physical Education, which is a cornerstone of our ecological and sustainability ethos, supporting students to develop healthy, active lifestyles while cultivating resilience, teamwork and a deep connection to the natural world.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Physical Education across Primary (KS1/KS2) and Secondary (KS3) levels, delivering high‑quality core PE.
  • Adapt teaching to engage, challenge and inspire learners of all abilities.
  • Provide expertise in athletics, netball, basketball and cheerleading, strengthening these pathways within the whole‑school sports provision.
  • Contribute fully to the extra‑curricular programme, including coaching Primary and Secondary squads, supporting fixtures and competitions, and helping to grow participation and performance across the school community.
  • Champion the school’s ecological and sustainability ethos by integrating sustainability themes into PE teaching.

Required Candidate Profile
  • Native‑level English language skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a similar field, with a PGCE in Education with QTS or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching physical education in the UK or a reputable British school overseas.
  • A track record of outstanding teaching and learning, and the ability to create a caring and nurturing classroom environment.
Remuneration

A competitive tax‑free compensation package will be provided in accordance with School policy and UAE labour law regulations.
