The role involves performing advanced simulations and structural analyses using FEA tools to support product development and optimization efforts. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, along with hands-on experience with FEA software. Responsibilities include collaborating with design teams, preparing technical reports, and staying updated with industry standards.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented FEA (Finite Element Analysis) Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing advanced simulations and structural analyses using FEA tools to support design validation, product development, and optimization efforts across multiple projects.
Perform structural, thermal, vibration, and fatigue simulations using FEA software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, Nastran).
Develop and validate finite element models from CAD data.
Analyze results and provide design recommendations to improve product performance, safety, and durability.
Collaborate with design, test, and manufacturing teams to ensure models reflect real-world conditions.
Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Stay updated with the latest industry standards and simulation techniques.
Contribute to continuous improvement of simulation processes and workflows.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of FEA principles and simulation best practices.
Hands-on experience with one or more FEA software tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, HyperMesh, Nastran).
Proficiency in pre-processing and post-processing techniques.
Knowledge of material properties, mechanical behavior, and failure criteria.
Good understanding of CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, NX).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and documentation skills.
Experience in [Automotive / Aerospace / Electronics / Heavy Machinery / Medical Devices] industry.
Exposure to scripting (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for automation of FEA tasks.
Experience with CFD, crash analysis, or multi-physics simulations is a plus.
Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ASME, ISO, ASTM).
