Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Dubai seeks an experienced Cost Estimator to manage comprehensive data for designing and delivering exhibitions. This role is crucial for evaluating project requirements, preparing precise cost breakdowns, and assisting in competitive project estimates. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 2 years of related experience. Strong knowledge of architectural drawings, CAD, and negotiation skills are essential. The position may require long hours at a computer to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Estimation field.
• Strong background in Events and Exhibitions.

Responsibilities

• Review visuals and Technical Drawings for events.
• Perform quantity take offs on exhibition stand designs.
• Estimate material and equipment costs accurately.
• Compile and manage supplier data base.

Skills

Knowledge of architectural drawings

Knowledge of CAD

Good negotiation skills

Ability to work unsociable hours

Interdepartmental communication skills

Education

Bachelor degree in Engineering or similar
