A strategic communications firm based in Abu Dhabi is seeking a seasoned professional to lead executive communications strategy. This role requires over 12 years of experience in corporate communications and fluency in both English and Arabic. The successful candidate will manage high-profile engagements and ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms. Full-time position with competitive benefits.
1. Strategic Communications & Leadership
Develop and implement a cohesive executive communications strategy aligned with the company’s mission and strategic priorities.
Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief of Staff on all aspects of executive positioning, messaging and communications planning.
Ensure message consistency and alignment across corporate, government and subsidiary platforms.
2. Content Development & Messaging
Draft high-quality content including speeches, op-eds, internal memos, talking points, social media posts and media briefings.
Craft compelling audience-specific narratives that support corporate priorities, leadership voice and brand positioning.
3. Media & Public Engagement
Collaborate with the company’s Corporate Communications and PR teams to manage media engagements, interviews and speaking opportunities for the CEO.
Support participation in high-profile industry forums, panels and conferences.
4. Internal Communications
Develop content for key internal communications initiatives including town halls, all-hands meetings and leadership updates.
Ensure clear and effective messaging within the organization to enhance employee engagement and alignment.
5. Social Media & Thought Leadership
Curate and manage the executive’s social media presence across relevant platforms, including Instagram.
Strategically position the CEO in global and regional thought leadership ecosystems through content contributions and event participation.
6. Crisis & Sensitive Communications
Provide communication strategy and execution support during critical issues, reputational risks or sensitive internal/external announcements.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field is required.
A Master’s degree in Communications or a relevant discipline is preferred.
12 years of experience demonstrating success in executive and corporate communications roles, preferably in complex high-growth or multi-stakeholder environments.
Extensive experience working closely with senior executives, managing sensitive communications and shaping public perception through strategic messaging.
Background in managing cross‑functional communication initiatives and collaboration with PR, media and corporate affairs teams.
Strong expertise in strategic communications including the development of speeches, talking points, press releases and executive messaging.
Proven ability to craft high-quality content for both digital and traditional platforms, including internal communications and public-facing materials.
Excellent command of written and spoken English & Arabic.
Skilled in managing high-profile communications and providing counsel to senior leaders.
Strong editorial judgment, storytelling capability and attention to detail.
