Job Title: Executive Chef

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to join our team at Khalifah A City. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of culinary principles and the ability to lead a high-performing kitchen staff. The successful candidate should have exceptional culinary skills, be highly organized, and have a passion for creating delicious meals. They must also demonstrate excellent management and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other culinary professionals.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing menus that reflect current trends in contemporary cuisine and using seasonal ingredients.
  • Developing new recipes, plating techniques and presentations.
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant kitchen including ordering supplies, managing food costs, following safety guidelines, and ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Supervising the preparation of dishes by kitchen staff.
  • Working closely with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Training kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques.
  • Ensuring all kitchen staff adhere to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
  • At least 5 years experience in a professional kitchen setting
