A leading construction and logistics company in Dubai is seeking a Transport Supervisor. The role involves sourcing external hire plant and equipment for various projects, coordinating with project teams and suppliers, and ensuring accurate documentation. Candidates should have experience in logistics or construction, strong communication and coordination skills, and proficiency in MS-Excel and relevant software. This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role within the logistics or construction industry.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS-Excel and familiarity with buildsmart software preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of lowbed trailer mobilization procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source external hire plant and equipment for Dutco Group Projects.
• Coordinate with project teams and external suppliers daily.
• Follow up on breakdowns of external hire equipment with suppliers.
• Coordinate mobilization and demobilization of external equipment.
• Enter and approve external hire requisitions in the build smart system.
• Prepare and update monthly summaries using MS-Excel.
• Generate and amend requisitions for purchase orders related to invoices.
• Perform filing and routine office tasks daily.
