Job description

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Proactively seek new opportunities to sell the company's monitoring products & services.
  2. Coordinate customer needs by communicating with all departments within the company to boost sales.
  3. Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs.
  4. Coordinate new product implementation, including presentations, training materials, and product information/documentation.
  5. Assist in the design of new products.
  6. Provide training and support materials for both internal sales teams and customers.
  7. Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
  8. Work with CRM (Salesforce) and regularly update the EOSS CCO about leads, actions, and support needed.
  9. Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other events.
  10. Stay updated on market trends and liaise with industry technical experts.
  11. Follow legal and compliance guidelines of Prysmian.
Additional Information:
  • The Sales Representative for EOSS will work in an international team of highly skilled engineers, coordinating activities with internal functions and liaising with stakeholders (Sales Managers, Project Managers, R&D, Operations, Installation Engineers, Customers, Quality).
  • The engineering activities include document preparation, participation in customer meetings, and contribution to product development.
Skills Development:
  • The role offers opportunities to develop skills such as flexibility, relationship building, teamwork, ability to work under pressure, and effective communication at all levels within Prysmian and with customers.
  • Deepen technical knowledge in design and engineering of monitoring systems, understanding of installation processes, and knowledge of Partial Discharges, Current Monitoring, Distributed Monitoring systems with fiber optics, and innovative approaches in monitoring system design.

Apart from core businesses in Power (Cable Monitoring) and Pipeline, the Sales Representative should remain open to new opportunities, either through standard solutions or by creating new opportunities in coordination with R&D.
