A leading hospitality firm in Dubai is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance operations. This role involves managing tasks for technicians, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and handling administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in engineering or maintenance, particularly in hospitality, along with strong technical knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to train and guide a team. This is a full-time position with no remote work options available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 35 years experience in engineering or maintenance, preferably in hospitality.
• Minimum 12 years experience in a supervisory or lead technician role.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and engineering operations.
• Detail-oriented with accurate record-keeping skills.

Job description

The Engineering Supervisor oversees daily maintenance operations, assigns tasks to technicians and ensures preventive and corrective work is completed to standard. The role supports CAPEX and OPEX planning, cost control and coordination with procurement and external contractors. Responsibilities include managing work orders, updating engineering systems, maintaining logs, PM reports, AMC files and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The supervisor also handles administrative duties such as monthly attendance, overtime, leave records, inventory tracking, duty rosters and documentation. The position requires effective communication, technical knowledge across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems, and the ability to train, guide and support the engineering team while ensuring smooth coordination with other departments.
