Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose and troubleshoot engine and electrical issues in outboard/inboard motors.
- Perform repairs, maintenance and full rigging tasks to ensure optimal engine performance.
- Maintain and manage inventory of spare parts and handle ordering and documentation.
- Follow manufacturer-recommended service schedules, performing routine preventive maintenance (oil changes, filter replacements, etc.).
- Test and verify engine repairs to ensure quality standards and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate professionally with customers, providing explanations, answering questions and offering maintenance advice.
- Accurately document repairs, maintenance activities and parts usage; complete service reports and work orders.
- Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations related to tools, equipment, and hazardous materials.
