Job description
Responsibilities
  • Inspect, diagnose and troubleshoot engine and electrical issues in outboard/inboard motors.
  • Perform repairs, maintenance and full rigging tasks to ensure optimal engine performance.
  • Maintain and manage inventory of spare parts and handle ordering and documentation.
  • Follow manufacturer-recommended service schedules, performing routine preventive maintenance (oil changes, filter replacements, etc.).
  • Test and verify engine repairs to ensure quality standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, providing explanations, answering questions and offering maintenance advice.
  • Accurately document repairs, maintenance activities and parts usage; complete service reports and work orders.
  • Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations related to tools, equipment, and hazardous materials.
Qualifications
  • Requires high school diploma (or equivalent) and technical training/certification in marine electrics or a related field.
  • Must have strong knowledge and hands-on experience with outboard/inboard engines, diagnostic tools, and electrical systems.
