Qualifications

• University graduate in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of experience relevant to design or application knowledge in the switchgear field.
• Thorough technical knowledge in Low Voltage switchgear system and intelligent switchgear.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer specifications to prepare a reliable technical solution.
• Provide engineering solutions balancing customer satisfaction and cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare and provide all engineering documents required for procurement and production.

Skills

Experience in using latest CAEE tools/software such as EPlan, Autocad

Knowledge of Low Voltage products and relevant standards

Communication skills for technical meetings

Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Dubai

Contract: 12 months

Overview

Company is looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to develop cost-effective and high-quality electrical design solutions that meet customer requirements. You will be responsible for managing engineering projects, coordinating with internal teams and clients, and ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes customer specifications in order to have a clear picture of Customers requirement to prepare a reliable technical solution
• Responsible independently for the Engineering solution for the allotted Project, balancing Customer specification/satisfaction, optimum cost effective solution and using ABB standard solution/standards hence effectively maintaining Customer satisfaction and creating value to business unit.
• Provide active support to Project Management in participating technical meetings with Client/Consultant, to maintain on-time delivery, and cost reduction techniques by means of alternative/optimum technical solutions.
• Prepare & provide all Engineering documents required for Procurement, Production to meet the dept. targets and provide any technical clarifications to cross functional teams as and when required.
• Responsible to meet or exceed the KPI targets allotted : On time delivery (Documents to Customer &) and reduce cost of poor quality.
• Good knowledge about LV products, relevant standards.

Requirements
