Job Description Summary

MESA Service Finance Early Career Trainee (ECT) is responsible for providing financial visibility in designated areas, assisting with day-to-day financial activities and reconciliations, and following up on action items with respective teams.

The Early Career Trainee program is a 12-month initiative designed to invest in young talent. GE trains and develops fresh graduates by enhancing their general skills, providing on-the-job knowledge, and offering technical experience.

Job Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing finance support to the Service Operations team in MESA during the program.
  • Identifying finance data points to establish quarterly Profit & Loss projections.
  • Monitoring actual accounting records to compare with quarterly PL projections.
  • Escalating variances to respective functions and establishing sustainable processes for variance analysis.
  • Following up with functions to determine the root causes of variances.
  • Supporting SVC MAX transition from a finance perspective until it is free of systematic revenue/cost errors.
  • Performing ad hoc profitability and feasibility analyses on individual projects.
  • Developing dashboards and reports to enhance visibility on cost and revenue elements.
  • Ensuring compliance with GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or accounting.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English.
  • Intermediate knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Experience analyzing balance sheets and income statements.
  • Prior exposure to ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
  • Comfort working with big data to extract meaningful insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multitasking environment with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with PowerBI or Oracle Analytics for dashboard and report generation.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to changing environments.
