Job summary

A leading firm in Dubai is seeking a Soil & Material Lab Technician to conduct laboratory and field testing of construction materials. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Civil Engineering and 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in soil and material testing. Responsibilities include conducting tests, maintaining equipment, and preparing reports to ensure compliance with industry standards. Strong knowledge of ASTM and AASHTO standards is required, along with good communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience in soil and material testing.
• Good knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, and BS standards.
• Ability to prepare and interpret lab test reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical and chemical testing of soil aggregates and concrete.
• Collect field samples and perform on-site tests.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Prepare test reports for quality control.
• Ensure calibration of lab instruments.

Skills
